The reason for the suspensions may be
Some payment issues.
or any dispute with customer/client or check any suspecious activity.
in the last wait for the response that you will ger from Upwork.

There is a problem of camera access in verify which is not being solved despite trying many times so that I can verify my account while in the phone the camera access of app with google is also on but still the problem is happening so solve this problem Do it so that I can work, so I have attached my photo ID card, so delete the verification ring and completely fail the Please Send Email Address Or message my fb messenger I'm Shear My Identify Documents. I am a citizen of Russia. I have been living in Kazakhstan for 2 years. Less than a week ago, I started working here on Upwork. When I was registering, I indicated my address as Kazakhstan because I LIVE in Kazakhstan. For the last name, I used my pseudonym, which I use on the internet. Today, I received my first contract, and Upwork asked me to go through verification. I took photos of my documents and my face. However, the documents show that I am from Russia, and they have a different last name. How can I pass the verification and prove that I don't live in Russia?

I started working on Upwork a few days ago. I created an account, set up my profile, bought connects, and began applying for jobs. Today, a client confirmed they wanted to work with me. I received an order, and my profile immediately became unavailable to other clients. Upwork required me to complete verification. I submitted my document and photo, but there has been no confirmation.
When I created my account, I had to specify the country where I am located. I have been living in Kazakhstan for 2 years. But during the verification process, they asked where I was born! I was born in Russia, and these are two different questions.
Additionally, when I created my account, I had to fill in my name and surname. Online, I work under the pseudonym 'TABACHI.' My offline clients know me by this name. However, this is not the last name in my documents. In my documents, I am 'KIRPICHNIKOV.' When I registered, there was no information stating that if I didn’t use my last name as it appears in my passport, I wouldn’t pass verification.
Furthermore, right after creating my account, I spent my own money to buy connects. After I received my order and Upwork required verification, my payment details were deleted. I re-added these details and switched my payment method to PayPal, but again, it says I didn’t pass verification.
This feels like mockery!
Why did Upwork take my money? I spent a lot of time searching for my first clients, setting up my profile, and promising other people fast delivery of their projects, but now I don’t exist for these people because my account is blocked for them. I am a professional designer! But from the outside, I look like a scammer. This is outrageous!
If verification is mandatory and you can’t work without it, why was I able to spend money and time on Upwork? When I gave you my money, you didn’t ask me to pass verification. I demand that my account be verified so I can continue working with my clients!

Regarding your concern about ID verification, I have coordinated with our assigned team and was advised that you need to update your profile photo as it does not meet Upwork requirements. If you can upload a close-up image with a focus on your head and shoulders and clearly show your full face. Note that sunglasses, other individuals, logos, or photos of anything other than his face are not allowed. For guidance on selecting a good profile picture, please refer to this article.

How else can I prove that I am a real person who came here to do quality work?
I am very sorry that such difficulties are not warned about at the time of profile registration. I think the support service would have less work if newbies knew that IN NO CASE should you use your nickname and company logo instead of a photo (as on documents).
Please, can someone from the support service contact me personally?

I have a question: are there any circumstances in which identity verification needs to happen again? For example, if a US citizen verifies with their US passport and then renounces their US citizenship, could they end up with their Upwork account being frozen if they can't later produce current US identification?

Tried to varify my identity:
1. Upload my driver license but because I live in different contry now, my location need to be varified.
2. Upload my bank statement, then my name (I'm using my business name)doesn't match.
3. Requested to change my profile name- I have to wait for 48hours for that.
Mainwhile my account seems to be suspended, it looks like I can still communicate with clients & access file but still feel like I'm going to lose it in any second.
A suggestion for upwork: do not make freelancers verifing their identity after they just got their first contract- it should be way before that. Do not raise issues after it happened, always let user know ahead.
Can someone help and resolve this quickly?
