For week ending 01/29/23, I submitted a 16 hour manual time invoice to my client. I just checked my time log and the hours are correct. The client has recieved the correct invoice for those 16 hours to review. However, the client also recieved an additional 8 hour invoice for review inexplicably dated 01/30/23 (yesterday) which is in the current week. I checked 01/30/23 and there are no hours entered. The client is frustrated with Upwork's billing and has asked me to clarify. Please advise as to what I should do next.

Why are both you and Upwork submitting? Shouldn't only one or the other submit for payment?
That is the issue because of time delays in the respective billings.
