Locked Private Profile

Hi there, My account was kept private please help me in making it public. thanks

Hi all,

 

If you are a new freelancer and don't earn money on Upwork within 90 days of your first proposal, or you choose not to submit a proposal within your first 90 days, your profile will change to private. 

 

When your profile is set to private it is not shown in freelancer search results but rest assured, clients are still able to see your profile when you submit proposals!


You can request that your profile visibility is reset by clicking this link found in this help article.

My profile is set to private because I did not submit proposals on Upwork. However, I now have an active client on Upwork, but my profile is still set to private. Can anyone help me resolve this issue?

Hi,

 

I have been inactive on Upwork for a long time. But recently I am sending proposals and want my profile visible to all clients. But my profile is set to 'Locked Private' and I have no option to change it to 'Public' in settings.

 

I tried contacting support, but the support option does not work for me. It just sends me in a click loop with no option to create any tickets.

 

I also tried the link to 'Reset my profile visibility' via this link

But again, this sends me in a click loop and gets me redirected to the same page.

 

I will appreciate any solution for this, as I want to boost the visibilty of my profile also the availablity badge is inactive as my profile is locked.

Hi team,

 

My profile visibility was locked due to inactivity and I opened a request to reset it about 10 hours ago. On the request ticket, it specified to contact back if its been more than 4 hours. 

Its been 10 hours and my pofile visibility is still locked. I can't seem to even reply or comment on the request ticket. Apologoes if the answer to this is evdent or this has been answered before but found that opening a question on here is the next best option.

My profile's availability badge is locked to private.

Same page is loading again.
Tried contacting support: failed, page is not loading.

Please fix my availability badge to public.

Why is my account set to privat as I just finished project? 

I can't switch it manually , how so? 

In Upwork rules I read that if you had no projects last 90 days you account may be set to Privat, so How so if I finished project 2 weeks ago, my account set up to Privat almost imidiatelly I ended the contract? 
How you decide it with the profiles? Why I can't swch it manually?

so i've been working lately on upwork then i noticed that my profile went private and there's no option to change it back to public when i  checked on the help center found this button that says switch to public account but, when i click on it nothing changes and nothing pops up to my screen meaning that the button isn't working at all. any help regarding this issue i'd appreciate that.

It looks like you need to update your profile picture in order for your profile to be allowed to be public again. Please, make sure that it's a clear photo of yourself, not a long shot, that your face is visible, and that the following requirements are met:

 

- You are not wearing sunglasses in the photo

- It is not a logo or clip-art

- It is not a group photo

- The picture was not digitally-altered

- The maximum size is 5 MB

 

Note that your profile must represent you as an individual and that all the information in your profile, including your profile photo, needs to be accurate, truthful, and verifiable.
