Locked Private Profile

Hi there, My account was kept private please help me in making it public. thanks

Hi all,

 

If you are a new freelancer and don't earn money on Upwork within 90 days of your first proposal, or you choose not to submit a proposal within your first 90 days, your profile will change to private. 

 

When your profile is set to private it is not shown in freelancer search results but rest assured, clients are still able to see your profile when you submit proposals!


You can request that your profile visibility is reset by clicking this link found in this help article.

Hi, I haven't been active on Upwork for a while and I noticed that my profile has become locked to private. 

I'm ready to start taking on new jobs on the platform, that's why I'd highly appreciate it if you could change my profile visibility to public.

I have tried changing my account's visibility back to public for days now, but nothing seems to be working. I have tried clicking on the link provided by the chatbot but still no change. Is there any other way to rectify this?

Can one of the moderators please assist above concern by Andrian B.? He already requested this before and was informed that he needs to submit proposals so that his account will be active which he did but it's still showing private and not visible to clients. His settings on visibility is grayed out and can't be changed. Kindly assist and message him. Thank you.

I had 2 jobs done in last 2 weeks and get paid, but I can't switch my profile to visible.

 

Also, I have 6 jobs done and 5 of them are successfull, but in my profile I have only 5 jobs and 75% success rate? 

 

How could I fix it?

Hi Kiril,

 

Your profile visibility has been reset to public. You may log into your account to check. As for your completed job, please allow it to be updated; it may have been just delayed. Many factors go into your JSS calculation, including public and private feedback given when the contract is closed, the weight of the contract, etc. We won't be able to share information about any specific feedback, but you can check the explanation of how your score is calculated here. If you still prefer to request feedback removal, you can read this help article for more information.

Can't reset profile visibility. Tried ~month ago and today lo of times. Tried with different devices/browsers/mobile app/ip addresses, nothing happens after pressing button "reset visibility". I even can't see my request in requests tab.
