Locked Private Profile

Hi Team,

Please help me. My profile has been locked and private and dont know how and now i cant make it public.

Hi all,

 

If you are a new freelancer and don't earn money on Upwork within 90 days of your first proposal, or you choose not to submit a proposal within your first 90 days, your profile will change to private. 

 

When your profile is set to private it is not shown in freelancer search results but rest assured, clients are still able to see your profile when you submit proposals!

 

You can switch it back to public by simply logging out and back into your Upwork account again. Note: Your profile will be automatically reset to the visibility option you had. (The options are public, only to other Upwork users, or private.)

My Upwork profile visibility changed from public to private, trying to restore it back to public, then a message pops up from down saying “something went wrong please contact costumer support” could there be any issue?

Hi, I'd like to turn on my Availability badge but my profile is set to private. How can I restore it to public to get job invites

You can switch it back to public by going to your Profile Settings page. Here is a screenshot for your reference. Let us know if you need further assistance.

Hey, 

 

I had logged into my acoount after 1 month and profile visibility was set to private . I changed it to public but it won't accept it. It shows error and says to contac support. The error code is [8b1e5499ba85de4b-MCT, 8b1e5499ba85de4b-MCT]. Please help me out here. I had contacted the support but I can't submit my ticket either.

I cannot switch from the private mode for quite some time already. Can you kindly support me in this issue? Also I cannot see the courses i have enrolled or workshops. Thank you !
