Locked Private Profile

Hi Team,

Please help me. My profile has been locked and private and dont know how and now i cant make it public.

Hi all,

 

If you are a new freelancer and don't earn money on Upwork within 90 days of your first proposal, or you choose not to submit a proposal within your first 90 days, your profile will change to private. 

 

When your profile is set to private it is not shown in freelancer search results but rest assured, clients are still able to see your profile when you submit proposals!

 

You can switch it back to public by simply logging out and back into your Upwork account again. Note: Your profile will be automatically reset to the visibility option you had. (The options are public, only to other Upwork users, or private.)

Hi Saima,

 

I checked and can confirm that your profile is available publicly. You may want to check again after clearing your cache and cookies or using another browser.

I already changed my profile visibility to public, but it seems that my profile is still not appearing in search results. Additionally, I’ve shared my profile link with potential clients, but they are having trouble accessing it. Could you please assist me in ensuring that my profile is fully public and visible to clients? I want to make sure that I’m accessible for potential job opportunities.

Yes, the clients are receiving an error message. My profile link is not working according to the clients. Please help me with this issue.

The client did not provide an image of how it looks, but only said that the link I provided, which I copied from my profile, is not working.

My name is also not searchable. When I try searching for my Upwork profile, even though the status is public, I can’t find it.

Hello Sardar,

 

Thank you for reaching out. I checked, and it looks like you are an exclusive member of your Agency. You can change your profile visibility settings by switching to your Agency account and navigating to your "Agency roster" page under your "Find Work" tab or simply clicking this link. Here is a screenshot for your reference.
