Payment method inactive

Dear.... 

 I am a freelancer. On 29th October I was hired for a copywriter work. As my payment method was inactive..... They said that I have to pay $ 50 to add bank account  on upwork and also there is a credily union site in which I have to register my I'd for payment. And then when I try to make transaction .... It needs $100 dollar for a input key number... Also I had pay $50 dollar to them which is refundable payment( they had said) and now I have to pay $100 dollar. 

Should I pay... If it is not fraud. Can I get those $ back???

It is a scam. You're out of $50. Don't pay anything more. Go through the forum and academy to educate yourself on how to recognise scam.

On this platform, clients pay you and not visa versa.

Can you tell me why my payment method is not verified yet.... And also tell me that how can I take my payment from then... That I  had done their work.  And I'd verified is not done yet why mam... Please tell me

I don't know why your payment method is not verified yet, I am not working for Upwork. 

You can't get your money back, because you paid scammers.

It's okk if I don't get money from them but can somebody help why can't I verified my payment method...
