Payment not received to my PayPal

Whenever i try to withdraw my money using paypal, payment method fails and money is credited back to my upwork account.

The following is the received mail:

We attempted to process your recent payment request but unfortunately it failed.

The reason for returned funds: Unable to apply funds.

As a result, the funds have been returned to your Upwork account and we need you to update your payment method for future payments.

Hi Mariam,

 

I am sorry to hear about the trouble withdrawing your funds. I checked the withdrawal you are referring to and it appears that there is a problem with either your PayPal account or the PayPal details added to your Upwork account. Could you please reach out to PayPal support to check the status of your account and try adding the  PayPal account again?

Hi Mariam,

 

I am sorry to hear about the trouble withdrawing your funds. I checked the withdrawal you are referring to and it appears that there is a problem with either your PayPal account or the PayPal details added to your Upwork account. Could you please reach out to PayPal support to check the status of your account and try adding the  PayPal account again?

Dear PradeepH,
When i add billing method(paypal), it shows that"the payment method entered is already associated with the maximum number of accounts". Could you please solve this problem?

I have added PayPal accounts to Payment methods, and my Paypal account is verified. When I try to send money to PayPal account, message is coming success but failing. Money coming back to Upwork account.

If you are referring to methods you can use to withdraw your earnings, I'm afraid those aren't available. However, you can use various options, such as directly to a U.S. bank, Wire Transfers, and PayPal. You can learn more about those and other alternatives on this page

Hi,  upwork keeps refusing my paypal account even though my PayPal account is verified please help me.

I can't get paid I received and email: The reason for returned funds: Unable to apply funds.

 

I also Received a notification that my payment could not be processed.

I have the same problem. I completed a few jobs and tried to withdraw money to my PayPal account but was rejected more than 3 times. Thank you in advance for any help

I am trying to contact Upwork support the whole day, but the chatbot doesn't let me create a ticket
I have transferred my payment to my PayPal account yesterday, but I didn't receive it yet.

I reached out PayPal support but they couldn't help me.

Please fix the chatbot or remove it.

 I’ve been trying to withdraw my payment multiple times via PayPal and each time it failed. I don’t understand the nature of this failure, a chatbot is of no use. Each time I try to withdraw money not only is the payment rejected but the payment method is being disabled too. I've tried to issue a ticket but no luck there. How can my problem be solved and what steps do I need to take in order to resolve the issue?

We created a milestone offer to but the payment via PayPal failed. Not sure why it happened. The PayPal was already connected. What could we do to fix this issue. Thanks!
