I too am having trouble verifying my number. When I get my money to my local bank, I can not get code verifying to my phone or my E-mail, I tried it in 2 days and it is the same problem. Would you be able to have a team member reach out to me as well?

When I try to register as a freelancer after previously having created a 'business' account to hire freelancers, I get an error message when entering my phone number, "This number is being used by another account." I am therefore unable to register my freelance account. How can I resolve this? Any insights are appreciated.
I have done some research and discovered that according to Section 3.2 of the User Agreement users are allowed to have one client account and one freelancer account as separate accounts. So you can open a separate personal freelancer account and continue managing your company client account. I'm wondering how to get past the duplicate phone number issue. See attached docs for images related to this issue.

For what it's worth, and to assist others having this same issue, I received help on my support ticket, but it didn't resolve the issue. While I'm still in communication with support, I figured I'd add my additional screenshots here in the hopes that someone will address what appears to be a common glitch in the Upwork software.
Also, fwiw, here is the initial response I received from support so whoever's reading this can try to follow the
complete thread.
