Phone Number is already in use

Hello, Upwork

I too am having trouble verifying my number. When I get my money to my local bank, I can not get code verifying to my phone or my E-mail, I tried it in 2 days and it is the same problem. Would you be able to have a team member reach out to me as well?

If you need help verifying your phone number, it would be best if you reach out directly to our support team so they can assist you within a private and secure channel of communication. 

 

How do I reach a human in customer support?

 

  1. Select Get Support at the bottom of the Help Center page
  2. Type a question or topic and select "Send." The bot will find relevant Help articles for you.
  3. If we don't find the information you need after a few tries, you’ll see an option under the article selections to "Contact Support"
  4. Select "Contact Support" and follow the options provided

I am creating my profile but I do not have text SMS. Is there a way to verify my phone number through a call?

Two problems with your profile:

 

(1) Your profile picture is a cartoon, not a photo of you, yourself.

 

(2) You list your location as United States, but the time zone (EST + 8 hours) would appear to make it impossible that you live in either the mainland US, Alaska, Hawaii, or US territories.

It’s not a cartoon it’s an ‘icon’ but ok, if you’d like me to provide a
headshot then I’ll add that.

The time zone doesn’t explain why I’m not getting an SMS to my cell number.

The time zone inconsistencies tell me that the information on your profile is false.

 

Also, in re the "icon" : It's not a question of what "[I] want." You aren't doing me any special favors by replacing your icon with a real photograph. You are simply bringing your profile into conformation with Upwork policy.

I am also not recive Two-Step Verification code over mobile phone number and as well in my email account.
