I recently received a ‘Policy Reminder’ about payments outside of Upwork after a client sent me a message. We’re currently discussing potential work, and I haven’t entered into any contract yet. I wanted to confirm if there are specific actions or message triggers that might have caused this reminder, even at this early stage.
Also, does receiving a policy reminder at this point mean my account is at risk, or is it just a general reminder? I want to ensure I'm in full compliance and avoid any potential issues with my account. Thank you for any guidance on this!
