Problem with adding a billing method !

Hello , I used to use the same paypal account without any problems , now when I try to link my paypal account as a billing method I get this message " We are sorry but we cannot setup PayPal as your payment method because it is not verified. Please verify your PayPal account or add a payment card." .

What is the solution please ? my PayPal account is verified and i have been using it for years!
