Profile Visibility

Hello,
My profile visibilty is set to public, but the link to my profile is not leading to public view. The specialisation and the number of  accomplished jobs are not updated to the current status. Is this normal?

Hi Salma,

 

Some clients may choose their job post to be viewed only by users logged in to Upwork. When you work on one of these, it will also be excluded from public view (the viewer is not logged in.)

 

The public view you see when you choose this option from your profile page is what someone else would see when logged into Upwork.

Hi All, My name is Muneeb and am facing an issue with profile visiblity. I have joined Upwork back in 2022 and I haven`t started working on it But now I am actively responding to the jobs but I am not even getting a single reply from the clients am really worried. Is this because my profile is set to Private. Please guide me what should I do???

Hi Muhammad,

 

Your profile has been reset and the visibility is set to Public now.

Hi Pradeep, just need advice from you related to my upwork profile. I created my profile last year and haven`t worked on it. Now am starting working on it and not getting any orders. or messages from clients should I delete this profile and create a new one? What do you think it will help me or not?

Hi Muhammad,

 

I would like to clarify that freelancers are not allowed to have more than one account on Upwork, regardless of the old account being closed, or suspended. Having multiple freelancer accounts is a serious violation of the Upwork Terms of Service.
