Re: I am getting an error "link expired", whenever I try to submit the proposal.

I am having the same problem, whenever I select a project and can't even submit my information. This link is expired. Please contact customer support to receive a new URL. The URL will be active for 30 days.

To address the "link expired" error on Upwork when trying to submit a proposal, you can follow these steps:

Possible Solutions:

  1. Clear Browser Cache and Cookies:

    • Sometimes, clearing your browser's cache and cookies can resolve this issue. This ensures that you are not using outdated information stored in your browser.
    • You can usually find this option in your browser settings under privacy or history.
  2. Try a Different Browser or Device:

    • Switching to a different browser or device can help determine if the problem is specific to your current setup.
  3. Check for URL Validity:

    • Ensure that the URL you are using to submit your proposal is correct and has not been altered or truncated.
  4. Use Incognito Mode:

    • Sometimes, extensions or cached data can cause issues. Try using your browser's incognito or private mode to bypass this.

Contact Upwork Support:

  • If the above solutions do not work, you will need to contact Upwork's customer support to receive a new URL. Here’s how you can contact them:
    1. Go to Upwork Help Center:
    2. Submit a Request:
      • Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on "Get Help" to submit a request.
    3. Describe the Issue:
      • Provide a detailed description of the issue you are facing, mentioning the error message "link expired."

By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the issue or get the necessary help from Upwork's support team.
