Stuck at Profile Creation

Hi! i am currently stuck at Create your profile page even though I have filled out all the information and when clicking see profile, It does not go thru

Hi All,

 

I'd like to provide an update that our engineering team has addressed the root cause of this issue and we can't replicate it anymore. If you continue experiencing same issue with profile creation and get redirected to the categories step, could you please try an alternative Internet connection?

I choose the main services and and subcateroires that I do. And I choose the hourly rate and entered it. and then put my details such as name profile pic and address and phone number. but it keeps taking me back to choose what main services that I provided but I choose it. I closed the website and even logged out of my account and it still won't let me finish creating my freelancer account 

 

Could someone help me solve this issue?

Please can Upwork stop instructing us to cleare cache and cookies. This is not the issue. The issue is on your site. Tens of people are experiencing this issue. And have been for years according to your forum. Have been unable to create a profile all day due to the same issue.

Hi,

I am new to Upwork and making a profile. When I complete my profile and press "Check Your Profile" it redirects me back to categories page.

After going through the discussions, I have tried

- Clearing Cache

- Using another browser (Incognito too)

I am new to Upwork and am going throgh the create profile flow for Freelancers. I have filled everything in properly but when I get to the final screen I only have the button "Check Profile". When I select this it boots me back to the Categories page and shows that nothing is slected.

 

I have chosen different categories multiple times and it shows the answer is saved (I can even select back from the next page and see my answer is still there). However no matter what I do on the final screen it kicks me back to Categories and un-selects my choice.

 

Any ideas how to get through this?

This is happening to me as well for Categories. I select a category and sub category but not matter what I choose when I hit "Check Profile" I am booted back to the Categories section.

Fixed by removing VPN and/or a change on Upwork's side.

I am unable to publish my profile everytime I get to the end the only action i can take is to check my profile which takes me 3 steps back to information i've already provided. I have been going round and round for over an hour with zero online help. How do I publish my profile?

I am trying to create my Upwork account, I filled all the sections including the categories.

Hello I was setting upy profile and suddenly my network went bad and before I could know I was unable to complete it

Hi there!

 

I'm trying to create my account, and I keep getting redirected to the page that says "Tell us about the work you do. What is the main service you offer?"

 

After I complete the page that says "A few last details - then you can check and publish your profile", and select "Check Your Profile" I just get brought back to the main service you offer page.

 

There don't seem to be any other options to "Complete" my profile. 

 

Has anyone else had this issue/does anyone have any tips for how to resolve it and finish setting up an account?  Thanks!

I'm stuck with the same problem. I've tried with a different browser and restarted my modem to get a different IP but problem not solved.

Hi, I'm new to upwork and whenever I review my profile for submission, it redirects me back to Categories page. Please see screenshot.

Hello, I've added a second specialty profile that contains all the pertenant information. The problem is the button to Publish is greyed out and I cannot figure out why. This prevents me from using that profile when applying to jobs.

Hello Bojan, I logged into Upwork via vew browser that I never use (Edge) and the problem persists. Cannot publish the profile. I cleared the cache anyway and the problem remains. Cheers

Hi,  

 

I am having a serious difficulty in going past the profile creation. I recently started creating my profile, and I have filled everything that needs to be filled but I keep getting redirected to the profile creation page. I have refilled the form countless number of times, it keeps going back and forth.   

 

I have cleared cache, cookies, used other browsers, changed browser to desktop mode, used the app, cleared the app's data, force stopped. I am still getting the same feedback.
