UK Location Verification - Unable to do

Hello, I have recently moved to the UK. I have a biometric residence permit but I do not have a British passport.

When I tried to upload my BRP, the following text is displayed:

"It looks like you uploaded an unsupported type of ID.Please try again with an image of your state issued U.K. driving licence or British passport."

How could I overcome this and successfully get my ID verified?

I faced a similar issue with location verification on Upwork. In my case, I am currently a visitor in Turkey (soon i will take my family residance)  but i have a Tunisian passport when i buy today connects i felt schoked after i thought that everything is okay i have a verified TAX number, a banking turkish account for me and all info are validated by your team, i need just a help to approve my verification ,  i want to start working in this huge plateform and i m serious to be here, really i felt disappointed about what happened .

Hello,

I have tried to reach out here but didnt get any response. For my location verification, I had uploaded Indian Passport. Since I am in UK on a graduate Visa, I tried twice to send verfication- once with e-Visa and second time with bank statements. Both times failed. Third time I have attached BRP, National issurance document, and bank statements.

Please can someone co-ordinate since I have to give work in 4 days.

I'm in the UK and trying to photograph my passport (a British passport) is continuously failing telling me to change the orientation (incorrectly) and when I do it tells me to bring the camera closer (which means cutting information off the document and doesn't work either). When I take a photo myself it does seem to go through (with the incorrect orientation) but then when taking the selfie it tells me that my information hasn't been submitted and to try again. I've tried multiple browsers on my phone and I have been trying for the past hour. The chat bot was utterly useless in finding a solution.

Hi Pradeep. It keeps saying that I need a British passport or
Driver's License to verify but I have none of those yet I currently live in
the UK. I have my BRP and bank statements to prove it.

I am trying to upload my Biometrics Residence permit as my proof of staying in the UK, but the only option available is a UK driving License and a British passport.

I don't have any of these as I am not a Uk citizen.

Please do something about this, so all the freelancers without driving licenses or British passports will be able to apply for contracts.

I arecently moved to the UK and I am presently can't find work on the platform as it says I need to verify my identity, I am trying to upload my Biometrics Residence permit as my proof of staying in the UK but the only option available is a UK driving License and a British passport.

Although I'm located in the UK on a stable basis, I can't verify my location as the only means contemplated are a UK passport or a UK driving license, that I don't have as I'm not a British national.

To be located in a country, obviously you don't need to be a national of that country.

Is this how it's supposed to be or is it a technical flaw?

I moved from India to the United Kingdom. I changed my location in my contact info then I got a notification to verify my location. for that, I need to change the country from India to the United Kingdom but I am not able to change it because I have verified my ID document in India and now I want to verify my new document which belongs to the United Kingdom.
