Cannot seem to be able to verify my new location. Just moved to a new country, so no official documents except the official visa expedited by the embassy (which I already submitted and got rejected without any explanation whatsoever, so cheers to that).
If you're going to reject a verification, you could at least have the professionalism and decency to let people know why the submitted document was rejected, instead of people fighting pointless chatbots. Otherwise, you're just playing with people's time.
What's more, you're "warning me" with a 7-day lapse to upload a new document, or else my account will be deactivated? How am I supposed to do that if THE ONLY DOCUMENT I HAVE WAS REJECTED, AND THERE'S NO WAY TO CONTACT A HUMAN BEING FROM YOUR SUPPORT TEAM?
Guys honestly, not sure who or what reviewed my documents, but please, take one minute (that's all I ask) to review my submitted doc again and come back with a proper response so we can solve this ASAP. You're getting in the way of my work and my clients.

This complaint seems rather unusual. The availability of a visa doesn’t automatically grant you the right to work unless it’s explicitly stated that you are a permanent resident of the new location and authorized to work there. This is clearly outlined in the Terms and Conditions under the location verification section. Why would someone change their location on the platform without securing the necessary documentation first? Many people wait up to six months to finalize their residency and provide Upwork with the appropriate proof. Until those documents are in order, a freelancer should maintain their original location.
And yes, all of these are written, and there is no ASAP solution until you secure proper paperwork that will be accepted by Upwork.
