Your access to Upwork has been restricted

Hello, I keep receiving this message whenever I attempt to access my project dashboard. What is the problem?

Hi All,

 

I'd like to provide an update that our engineers have released a fix for this issue. You may need to clear cache and cookies on your browser or use a different browser to make sure the fix is applied. Once you do, could you please try accessing your project dashboard again? 
Let us know if you continue experiencing the same error. 

Update: Since we haven't received any new reports since the fix was released, we'll be considering this issue resolved and closing this thread for replies.

I can confirm that there are no restrictions on your account that would prevent you from accessing your Project Dashboard and I can't seem to replicate the issue. I just got a response. That was quick thank you!. May I know if I can still withdraw my funds in Upwork even my account is still restricted? because it says it'll take 24 hours to review it.

I am having the same issue when I try to give feedback to a freelancer from the contact section. Can you please help?

Thank you for reaching out to us. I have checked your account and I can see that you have an active contract. When a contract ends, you can leave feedback to a freelancer and they can also leave public feedback about their experience with the client. Typically, clients are the ones closing the contract before providing feedback to a freelancer. Feel free to check this help article for more details.

Thanks, Arjay. The contract that I have is an ongoing hourly-based job that might stay active for a long time, do I have to wait until it's closed to be able to give the freelancer feedback?

Yes, you can only give feedback on a closed contract. That said, you should have the ability to close the contract on your end, whenever you choose.
