not receiving security code on my phone

Hi

 

not receiving security code on my phone ??

I have been trying for ages. it now says I have exceeded max number of attempts to activate notifications by trying to add my phone number

If you need help verifying your phone number because you're not receiving the code, we’ll need to ask you to confirm some private account details in order to help you. At Upwork, protecting your privacy is our priority. With this in mind, it would be best if you reach out directly to our support team so they can assist you within a private and secure channel of communication. 

 

How do I reach a human in customer support?

 

  1. Select Get Support at the bottom of the Help Center page
  2. Type a question or topic and select "Send." The bot will find relevant Help articles for you.
  3. If we don't find the information you need after a few tries, you’ll see an option under the article selections to "Contact Support"
  4. Select "Contact Support" and follow the options provided

I want to disable Google authenticator app verification on mobile app or throug web address It again request to add 6 six digit code from authenticator app for confirmation to next process. I am unable to get this code.

Please guide and send code  my email address.

 

Is there any solution to disable extra more security on upwork?

I set up a new device and reset my older device. Unfortunately, now I can't get code anymore from the authenticator app which is my recommended security option. Yet I also can't change anything on account settings because it requires the authenticator code. I stuck and really can't do anything on account settings, kindly assist!

You should be able to change your phone number by going to the Settings > Contact Info page and making the necessary changes under the 'Location' section. Could you please let us know if you are experiencing any issues while trying to do that?

When i go to setting they ask for a confirmation and the number they send the code is the old one that i don’t have, that’s the problem

I'm receiving a similar error, I'm trying to change some details for my account and I receive the message "Use your authenticator app to generate a code. Enter it in the code box and press Confirm" but I do not receive any code on my phone or on the app.

Authenticator app is the default choice for the second step verification process but I have no idea what it is and I can't replace it with sms option.
