I got a message from a translation job I applied. They said I have to pay deposit like money for each work. That's nonsense. We appy to this jobs to earn money not spend. We should be able to report these people. I will share the info of the employer but I am not sure if wanting money from an employee is a thing. It smells fishy to me. I need help from Upwork team.

It is a scam. Flag them, block them, and report them here.

Too bad they removed the job before I realized that this was a scam. How can I report them? I only have their contact number and they can still keep scamming on here.

I'm sure Upwork will block them, but hopefully they will not just simply use another email addresss to sign up again.
