I work as a WordPress developer on Upwork and I'm a few months old here as a freelancer, sometimes when I'm working on hourly contracts and I have a bug on my client's website, I usually turn off the time tracker, after I fix that bug, then I turn it on again and continue working.
My question is, is it wrong to actually keep the time tracker turned on whilst fixing the bug on my client's website, or I'm supposed to actually stop tracking until I fix that bug?
Thank you

Kevin:
You are SUPPOSED to log time while you work on the client's project.
You are SUPPOSED to continue logging time while fixing a bug.
You will NOT get in trouble if you stop the time-tracker while fixing a bug.
It is not a violation of any Upwork rule if you stop the time-tracker while you fix a bug.
