I know little about MACS, BUT ... I have heard that "Bootcamp", which is delivered by default with every Mac, will allow you to run Windows as well as MAC on the same system. You basically have the two operating systems in the same box. The drawback being you have to reboot to get back and forth.
VMWARE lets you install Windows in a "virtual machine" and then install and run software for that version of windows. You do not have to reboot to get to a virtual machine, it acts like regular sofrware except that it is running software inside it. There is a MAC version.

WINE or Crossover, which is mostly for Linux users to run stuff with, is also rumored to work with MAC.
