Hey all, trying to break into press release writing and was curious: Who writes the boilerplate copy at the end of the press release? Is this something that's typically provided by the company? Is it usually written by the copywriter? Or is it case-by-case?
When I was still working in the PR & Marketing agency, our boiler-plate was from us, and not from our clients (since they relied on us to write these things for them). However, some clients have their own boilerplates already, so we'd use that instead.
