End contract

Hi

I started a contract with a freelancer but after some talks we changed the scope and both agreed. I made a new job and we have a new contract thats fine. Now I can't end the first contract because I have to pay or request a refund. (see image)

What should I do?  Does it effect the freelancer in some way?

You set all options correctly. Freelancer's reputation wont be hurted with.

Use "pay nothing and request refund". Freelancer will accept and escrow will be returned to you.
