A freelancer cancelled contract because they missed the deadline and now I cant find the invoice on my profile to request a refund. please help. If i go to Request a refund- there is no invoice for me to select- its like the transaction doesnt exsit, but upwork has already taken the full amount off my card.

I am sorry to hear about your experience with this freelancer. I checked the job you are referring to and I can confirm that the refund is already initiated to the original card. Please allow 3-5 business days for the credit to reflect on your card.

If you didn't approve any milestones, then the amount that was in escrow will go back to your payment method since the freelancer closed the contract. There is no need to request a refund. Just wait a couple of days.
