Not sure if this the right place to post this, apologies if not, but it's been very frustrating to find a lack of support available to query this, so thought I would reach out to the forum.
I applied for an Expert-Vetted Talent application back in June, over three months ago now. I was delighted when I recieved an email saying 'your Expert-Vetted Talent application has been chosen to move to the next step! You will receive an email in the coming weeks with next steps on how to schedule your live, pre-vetting call.'
This was mid July. I haven't heard anything since and there is no way to check on the application or speak to a person. I am returning to freelance after a long break and was hoping this would kick start things for me, so it's unfortunate I haven't heard anything at all. Right now this feels like a cash grab, having had 50 dollars taken as a fee for no reason. This coupled with the amount of money I've spent on connects just to apply for things and not hearing back has me questioning whether it is worth continuing on Upwork.
If you know anymore about this, even how to get in touch with someone about it, let me know! Thanks

They have confirmed that your application is on their queue and you will receive an email in the coming weeks with steps to schedule. Our team is working through scheduling pre-vetting calls based on when the application was received.
