Hello, everyone!I have a gif of an animated avatar. And I would like to make it my profile avatar, but it is not animated and is displayed as a static image. There is a slight animation of the background and a slight change of background color. The image format fully meets the requirements of Upwork. Can you tell me what the problem is or maybe contact the support team to get permission to publish an animated avatar?

If you're looking to publish this as your profile photo, I'm afraid this is not possible. Your profile must represent you as an individual, and all the information in your profile, including your photo, must be accurate, truthful, and verifiable. It should be a portrait of yourself and not a logo, clip art, or an animated avatar. Please check this article for more information on choosing your profile photo.

My profile avatar fully complies with the requirements and rules of Upwork. If you look at my avatar now, the animated avatar will be the same. The animation will be only for the background, where some elements will move: for instance - lamp and monitor. It's still my portrait, where you can clearly see me. It's not blank, it's not blurry, it's not a group photo, and there's no text on it. That's why I'm asking you to check it and give me permission to publish it. The only task of animation it is to make my profile more attractive for customers. Thank you,

Serhii, I understand you're eager to use this to enhance your profile. Still, as previously mentioned, you won't be able to use a GIF or an animated picture as your profile photo.
