bKash / Mobile Wallet Scams Alert for **Upworker

Hey there!

Please be aware of such scammers. Clients with no Upwork history directly offer small projects with a lucrative payment. For example, this guy offered a small data entry project and a cash transfer project. But he insisted on doing the cash transfer to his bKash or mobile wallet first. So do not fall for such traps.

Nick Hughes is here as well 😁

And why would I need to ask this question, of course they did it to gain some credibility. Scammers been doing it since many years 😑

I saw a few other posts about this Nick Hughes and thought to share my experience. I was trying to understand how they approach and what they ask, for example, he was insisting on making the deposit quickly! He was not interested in the supposed data entry project at all. 😄

He posed as a Director of an app developed by Bangla developers for Bangladeshis, and in bengali language, I presume, based on the script.

Met the first dumb scammer! 🤣
