What is a learning path?
A collection of courses, articles, and other informational resources curated for a broad learning need.
Who should follow a learning path?
Upwork users who are looking for an in-depth guided experience that involves different types of learning.
What happens when you complete a learning path?
You can move on to additional learning paths and continue your professional growth. Also, coming soon, you'll have the ability to unlock additional benefits such as profile and proposal reviews from Upwork coaches and Community badges upon completion of specific learning paths.

What is a course?
An interactive, informational experience revolving around a specific topic, such as building a portfolio on Upwork.

Who are the coaches?

Academy coaches provide cohort coaching to bring support and advice to more Upwork Community members at once and personalized one-to-one coaching.
Certifications
What's the benefit of Upwork Skills Certification?
When you earn a certification through Upwork Skills Certifications, you'll receive a badge for your Upwork profile. Standing out in your field as a skilled professional can help you connect with clients and grow your business faster.
What Upwork Skills Certifications are available?
You can currently earn certifications for select skills in our Web, Mobile, and Software Development, and Design and Creative categories. We hope to expand to other skills in the future.
What is the assessment process like for receiving an Upwork Skills Certification?
Upwork Skill Certifications are currently offered on an invitation basis only. If you are invited to go through the skills certification process, you will have the option to complete a skills assessment. For more information about each skill category, check out the Upwork Skills Certification page.
