My first suggestion is to change your profile photo. The picture in your photo should be a close-up image of your head and shoulders that clearly shows your face. Read through Upwork's best practices for How to Choose A Good Profile Picture.

Next, you must update the other important sections of your profile to increase your chances of getting hired. Suggestions for each section:

Title: Your title will be more appealing if you use specifics. For example: Data Entry Specialist or Data Entry Specialist | Administrative Support

Overview/Summary: Your summary might be the most important part of your profile. Use your summary to explain your data entry services; any experience you have providing data entry services; the benefits of your data entry services; and other information that helps clients see the value in hiring you. Clients care very little about your background and personal information. Clients care more about the services you provide and how you can meet their needs.

Portfolio: Add a portfolio to show samples of previous work or to demonstrate your skills. The portfolio is a chance to make a positive first impression on potential clients. If you don’t have relevant examples to add to your portfolio, you can create items that demonstrate your skills.

Skills: Be sure to add your data entry skill categories to your skills list. We are allowed up to 15 skills. Upwork uses these skill categories to match you with relevant jobs, and to help your profile appear in search results when clients search for those skills.

All of these should be updated, but the most important thing to your summary. After you update it, clients will have a better understanding of your services and how you can meet their needs or solve their problems.
