Hello everyone, please help

My Billing Cycle still showing as Jul 29, 2024 — Aug 31, 2024 while today already Sept 3, 2024. Does anyone know how to fix it? Will this be a problem to bid for a job or receive payment? 

And I didn't get any of the monthly Free Connects until today in my account. I knew from my friend's Upwork account that we will get Free Connects monthly. My friend never buy Connects or use the Freelancer Plus membership but still get the monthly Free Connects recently / few days ago. Is it because my Billing Cycle not updated? 

*I have finished my account registration and set up my profile since July 29, 2024 based on my friend's instruction.

Please help me to fix these two problems. Thank you in advance.

Thank you for the answer. But I would like to ask more about this, if i have do one of two things you said before (whether subscribe the Freelancer Plus or Purchase Connects), will I be able to get free Connects monthly as what my friend's account get? 

And, how to fix my Billing Cycle problem? It's not renewed and still stuck on Jul 29, 2024 — Aug 31, 2024. Or it will automatically renew only after I purchase connects or purchase the Freelancer Plus?
