Not receiving connects as a new account

Hello, Everyone!

A friend suggested I create an upwork account to Jumpstart my freelancing career. He mentioned that I should have free connectes upon joining for me to bid on contracts. After completing my account, I have 0 connect credits. Is there anything else I need to do?

Hi.  I have created a new account in upwork. But It's becoming really frustrating as my connects still is 0 after 3 days. There is no point of.buying connects for a.new account. You should.have given atleast few free connects as an openings.  Please. take the issue into consideration.

I read that I'll get a free batch of 50 initial Connects within 48 hours of submitting your profile to join Upwork. But didn't get any. Anyone can assist?

Hey same here , i didn't get the connects at first , because i think upwork has changed its terms and condition , now when you will buy connect , then right after buying connects , they will give you extra 40 connects for new user , so just buy 10 connects and 20 connects and you will be rewarded with 40 connects extra with them
