Hi fellow upworkers,

I was just scammed through a client named thomas Williams and his manager hazel williams. They invited me to telegram and proposed a translation job for a good amount of money. 

I worked real hard but when it came down to payment i was told to pay 70$ portal fee for getting paid.

Beware its a scam.

And remember if its too good to be true its most probably a scam

Client name dont matter at all: it is random.

The first thing you should have done was at least watch a video to find out how the Upwork platform works. You started work without a contract, so you had no chance of being paid.
