We heard our Enterprise client's feedback on the importance of providing more governance and controls during the hiring process on Upwork, and we are now launching a product feature to help Enterprise clients confidently scale their hybrid workforce.
Starting on March 21, Enterprise clients can opt-in (via their account manager) to enable this new feature, which requires hiring managers to submit a request for approval before contract offers are sent to freelancers. They can authorize up to four users within the company to approve offers before they’re sent. Enabling multiple approvers allows Enterprise teams to scale their hybrid workforce, control risk, and uphold company policies.
By offering the additional security of multiple approvers within the company, Enterprise clients can feel confident knowing that company policies are upheld as hiring managers seek to bring freelancers into the fold.
