Hi! I need some help.
My contract with the client was hourly. And we communicated through gmail and whatsapp for the updates on the work aside from manually loggin in the hours I worked.
Now, my client filed a dispute to lessen his pay to me where Upwork doesn't have any idea that client added worked that wasn't agreed on the job post and it really made me do more effort about it with the same pay. Now, it seems that client had scammed me, he pay less but I worked more.
I could provide screenshots of my work since it was more on calling but I didn't even had a chance to send proofs to go against my client. This is too one sided. This is so frustrating. I don't know what to do.

Hi Ericka,
I'm sorry to learn about the unpleasant and disappointing experience you had with a client. If a client does not agree with the hours billed the previous week by their freelancer, the client has the opportunity to file a dispute on the platform. The client may only dispute the validity of the hours billed and not the quality of the work through Upwork’s dispute process.
A Mediation Specialist will reach out and work with both parties in an attempt to reach a mutual agreement. However, you've already raised a couple of support tickets about your case. Please keep an eye on your tickets here or your email for updates.

Hello Ericka,
I'm not sure if communicating with your Upwork client through WhatsApp aligns with Upwork's regulations. To be honest, I don't think it does. So, I don't recommend you file a dispute. You might get banned.
