I keep waiting for the client to respond to my proposal statement.  But that makes me deprived of connects for applying for newer projects.  

Recently I also purchased few connects.  But still I got no contract in hand.

Your proposals may be ignored. Connects purchase dont guaranty that you will receive contract. Client even may never reply.
