Since I started working on Upwork a few years ago, I've always have a valid EU VAT number that can also be verified in the VIES system but I've just noticed I've been charged VAT in the past few months (I only noticed it now), for no obvious reason. I believe I shouldn't be charged VAT? How can I ask for a refund? Thank you.
