I cant fund a contract even though my card is working.

The problem appeared about 2 weeks ago.
Earlier I was able to Fund contracts & hire without any problems with the same master card I try to use now.
Every time I try to make a payment I get:
"You don't have a valid billing method on file with Upwork. Please correct this before making an offer."
I have the funds on my master card and the only problem with the payments is on UpWork.
What causes it?
