Proposal Withdrawn after Successful ID Verification

Within the last 24 hours, I created my upwork account and submitted my first 2 proposals.

Upon a direct contract request, I received a email for ID Verification this morning. I submitted my drivers license, took a selfie, and my ID was accepted after only a few minutes. I received my badge. However, my direct contract is no where to be found AND my proposals were withdrawn without my knowledge. 

I have also lost 16 connects in the process. How to I recover these proposals/connects? When will my direct contract be available to view?
