Renew a contract canceled by upwork due to increase in time.

Hello, 

I had sent the requested work(illustration) and i was waiting for changes if any needed.

 After that i got engaged and got busy in some personal matters. 

yesterday a message came that contract got cancelled and i started searching that message on my phone. Found out that the file was not sent because of some reason.(most probably the net issue)

I know i have done a big mistake. But is there any way that i can get the earned money back?

The client would need to pay you as a bonus on the closed contract.

In future, properly submit work using the "submit work for payment" option.

That's what it is there for.
