The client is still texting me

Hello,

I'm wondering if there have been any recent updates on Upwork regarding declined offers.

I received an offer from a client whom I've never spoken to before. Their profile had no image and seemed suspicious, so I declined the offer and marked it as spam.

Previously, such messages would be automatically removed from my inbox. However, this same client is now continuing to message me, asking questions about a job I declined. I can't seem to find the block button to prevent further messages.

Could you advise on my next steps for handling similar situations? Also, I'm curious why the client is still able to access our chat after I declined their job offer.
