Hello, I am facing a problem when trying to buy connects. I already added my card and after this there is a fee/charge deducted on my account. Now when I try to proceed on my payment on buying connects, there is an error "recent charge failed".
A fee/charge has already been deducted on my account so what is this error? I have already tried contact support which is basically just an AI (cant even talk with a real agent), and it says that this charge is deducted to verify my card and should also be returned. It was already deducted on my account so this should mean that verfication or authorization is successful.

I need to buy Connects right now, but I don't have a credit card. PayPal also requires a credit card. How can I buy Connects without using a credit card?Note: I can't borrow a credit card from family or friends, and I'm unable to get one myself.
I urgently need Connects, but what are new freelancers supposed to do when we don't have any cards, especially credit cards? I think Upwork should offer other payment methods besides credit cards and PayPal, which also requires a credit card.

Hi, I'm new to Upwork and I'm facing a problem. I understand the connects policy and that they are no longer given for free whrn starting. Howeer, I can't buy connects because they only accept credit cards, both on Upwork and Paypal.
What is the solution for new freelancers like me who don't have a credit card and can't borrow one? Idon't have the possibility of getting one soon, and I recently lost a job opportunity because I couldn't submit a proposal due to the
lack of connects.
I believe it's important for Upwork to find a solution for these kinds of situations and consider adding other payment
methods for those who are just starting their professional career.

I try to buy connects and the purchase is approved by the card, but soon after it appears that Upwork sends a cancellation of the purchase. Is there any human support that can check the problem?

Hi,
Yesterday I have bought connects by Visa card. After I click "Buy Connects", Upwork notices that the billing method has some problem and cannot solve this payment. However, after a few minutes, my bank account has been charged for Upwork but I did not receive the any connects.
Until today, I still did not receive any connects.
Please help me to check if there are any issues here.
I'd appreciate any insights you could provide!

Thank you for your message. Freelancers with a verified PayPal account can use PayPal as their billing method. In order to use PayPal as your billing method, you must have a verified, active PayPal account in good standing. You may want to reach out to PayPal support on how to use your balance.

Yes, there are sufficient funds in the bank account.
My bank transfers the money, but Upwork "refunds" the money.
