Someone has contacted me on my WhatsApp account claiming to be senior representative manager at Upwork, and was giving me a subscription job(subscribing a YouTube channel)

Then linking me up to someone on Telegram 

Is this a scam?

It is likely a scam if someone claiming to be a senior representative manager at Upwork contacted you on your WhatsApp account and asked you to subscribe to a YouTube channel. Legitimate companies would not recruit employees through WhatsApp or ask them to perform menial tasks like subscribing to YouTube channels. Additionally, being redirected to Telegram for further communication is another red flag. It is advisable to block the person who contacted you and report the incident to Upwork.
