Hi Upwork Community,

Can we post on-site projects on the Upwork platform? Our work involves both site and administrative tasks, requiring the person to be on-site to perform the duties. Is on site jobs are acceptable in line with Upwork guidelines?

Please note that we will be engaging freelancers from diverse locations. These freelancers will travel to the designated site to carry out their tasks. The client and freelancers will not be located in the same physical premises. Please confirm if such jobs are acceptable by Upwork?

Faizan, I have checked with the team and they have confirmed that we can allow jobs that require freelancers to travel to the designated site as long as both the client and freelancer are not interacting in person and the final work product can be delivered digitally. Also, all payments for these job must be made on Upwork.

Hi Faizan,

You can post a job like you usually do as long as it doesn't violate Upwork's Terms of Service. To simplify narrowing down talents for your location, you can use the location drop-down to specify a country. These alternatives help talent and agencies know if they're right for you, but your job post will still technically be accessible to independent talent and agencies everywhere. But who you choose to hire is up to you.

I want to reiterate Pradeep's response above that the final work product should be delivered digitally, and all payments for this job must be made on Upwork.
