Hi! I am working full time for this particular client for almost a year now. The tasks we agreed on during the interview and what's writted in the contract is I'll create marketing collaterals for his company, list them in Zillow and FB Market place. So we agreed on the contract price. However, he added more tasks when I started working and even asked me to create marketing collaterals and copy for his friends/students. I didn't know what to feel at first cause I have a lot of downtime so I thought maybe it was ok. But I talked to him and told him I'm not comfortable doing tasks for his friends and so he stopped. Then he added a task of receiving inbound calls, which I didn't like. So I told them that I taking calls was not in the contract but he told me he wants me to grow so I can manage the company and stuff. So I just did it. Just recently, he asked me to create marketing collaterals and copy of four properties for his friend again like we didn't talk about it. I'm not sure if what I feel is right. Do I have the right to feel like it's unfair? If you were in my situation, would you just go ahead and do it?

No, I wouldn't if I were in your situation. As you seem to have a fairly good relationship with this client, you should politely, but firmly, say you would be happy to do the extra work and help him build his business, but for this he would have to change the terms of the contract and create a new job, which really means that you could only agree to take on the extra work if you were paid more, and if you could fit it in with the work you already doing. As to working for the friend, provided you are paid for this work through Upwork, it is really down to you to decide whether or not to do it.
If your client is suggesting that his friend pay you in any way other than through Upwork, then that would be a seriousl violation of Upwork's TOS.

Maria, you can work on whatever you want to work on. That's your choice.
If a client hires you to draw pictures of animals, especially cats, you can accept the contract and the next day you can decide that you don't draw cats. Tell the client: "I no longer draw cats. Shall I draw this one as a dog instead?"
If you do that, it will be up to the client to decide whether to keep paying you to work for him, or fire you.
There may be ramifications on terms of client feedback.
But Upwork is not going to decide what kind of work you will or won't do.

Hi, Nichola! Thank you so much for your advice. I have no problem actually doing extra tasks if this is for the company but to do his friend's marketing collaterals, I feel like I'm working for two clients. I will tell him tonight. Thanks! 🙂

I've just thought that you could suggest to your client that his friend join Upwork and hire you separately through Upwork. (But your client might not like that! )
