A client indicates that
"For more information contact me at chat."
On his job definition. I can not see his username at the "about client" section. How can I access the clients username for chatting.

It's a ToS violation to communicate with a prospective client using channels other than UW before a contract is in place. Many clients are unaware of this policy. A few (IME) are aware but don't care. It's pretty much on us FLs to hold the line and protect ourselves as we see fit.
