I was hired by a client on Upwork to do a short 5$ trial video, for a long-term opportunity. The client's requirements were that he wanted a video editor that can download the right content and apply them in a professional edit. I was promised a template that was not supplied so I created one.
After the project was finished the client said that he liked it and requested the project file
"so I can add on the end screen for my client and fix the subtitles".
As the project file can be used to replicate my work, I requested an additional payment to send the source file. The client sent me a message saying that this is a rip-off and ended the contract.
Later on, the client left me feedback on my profile concluding it by saying
