Connects

I submitted two proposals, but just as I clicked 'submit proposal,' I found myself outside of the top four bidding positions. However, I still haven't received my boosted connects back.

Hi all,

 

As a freelancer or agency, you'll use Connects to Submit Proposals and let clients know you're interested in their project. You receive ten free Connects every month at the beginning of your billing cycle and bonuses for some interviews you win. We will send you a notification in Upwork (notification bell) and an email when you earn free Connects. For more information on how this works, check out our guide here.

 

To purchase Connects, go to Settings > Membership & Connects and click on the green 'Add More Connects' button. From there, select the amount to buy and click on the 'Buy Connects' button. Please note, that if you have sufficient funds on your Upwork balance, the charge will be applied to your Upwork balance. You can check out this help article to learn about the available Billing Methods.

Hi, there were two proposals sent, I have been refunded with just one outbid boosted proposal connects.

Respected  LuiggiR,

I hope you are doing well, Need guidance from you; hopefuly you will guide better. The point is that; as per Upwork policy every "Rising Talent Badge" achiver get 30 free connects after achive talent badge! I achived this badge 2 days earlier.This is great honour for me from Upwork team. But i didnt receive free 30 connects yet? kindly guide me and i request you give some tips that; how can boost my profile? i am trying my best at this time, but in vain.

Dear Sir, i made my upwork account in the start of june but still i did not recieve my initial 50 connects hence i am unable to use this platform. kindly help!

Hi Saba,

 

Upwork currently requires new freelancers to do one of two things before being able to submit a proposal for a job: subscribe to our Freelancer Plus membership plan for $20 USD a month, or purchase 100 Connects for $15 USD. After you fulfill this requirement you will also receive 50 free Connects to further help you get started on Upwork.

Hi Sir,

I have the same situation right now. Been waiting for my 50 free connects upon signing up but unfortunately, I did'nt get it until today. Does this mean I won't have my 50 free connects anymore unless i will subscribe to our Freelancer Plus membership plan or purchase otherwise?

Upwork no longer provides free Connects at sign up. Upwork currently requires new freelancers to do one of two things before being able to submit a proposal for a job: subscribe to the Freelancer Plus membership plan for $19.99 USD a month, or purchase 100 Connects for $15 USD. After you fulfill this requirement you will also receive 50 free Connects to further help you get started on Upwork, as well as the free Connects tied to your membership for any subsequent months.

Hi Pradeep

Today, I tried to purchase Connects using my PayPal Mastercard, bank account, and a gift card, but all of them were declined. My bank mentioned that the issue might be on Upwork's end. Could you please look into this?

Hi Pradeep,

 

My account is verified but my payment withdrawal method is inactive, I have added another one but its been 7 days but no response from team, also I had video chat with support team and showed my Id card and everthing but still my account services are on hold due to identity verification!!!!

Need your assistance as early as possible.

Hello,

I tried alot i can't buy connects. I am from Pakistan i am using debit card and just started on Upwork.

whenever i am trying to buy connects error shows: Your payment could not be processed. Please choose an alternate payment method or retry again later.
