I am a freelance on upwork. I have a challenge in my first job in upwork i got one job with invaitation a client send me a contract and i have completed the task now he wants more work outside the contract and i told the client to send me another new contract and he refused now is it safe to me to perform a task without a contract?

You cannot work for free. Ask client to create new contract or add milestore to current one.

Are you really asking if it's safe to work without a contract? No, of course not. No contract = no payment. And if the client is asking for free work you should report them, since that goes against the terms of service.
