Hello - I've been successful on Upwork as a technical writer and copywriter but am now feeling the need to build my skill bank so I can attract some new types of clients. The new skill I'm thinking about is SEO, which seems like it should be pretty easy to get some training on, but I'm not sure where to start. I get what it is, but it seems like there is a part that takes in some specific skills (doing keyword research and incorporating keywords) and a part that is just doing good writing that is informative and well-organized. I feel like I have the latter part covered but wouldn't put myself out there as an "SEO-friendly writer" as I see described in some places without knowing more about what it means to be skilled at SEO. Can anyone point me in the right direction for guidance/training? Thanks so much!

Hubspot's a good source, there's others out there:

There's not much writers need to learn to create SEO optimized copy.

That's awesome Lee, what kind of technical writing did you do? I'm so proud and impressed. I'd love to hear more about your success story
